This is the finished cover design for my Penguin Design Competition entry. I really struggled with how to represent the complex themes in
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. In the end a simple and graphic family tree seemed best, enabling me to choose some slinky typography to make it look grown-up. I'm rather pleased with it.
