New items

Couple of newbies in the shop today, see what you think. I'm really enjoying cutting out the "geometry lace" as I like to think of it, in the Spring Green collage. It takes a while but is one of those really satisfying jobs when you've got a brand new scalpel blade! I hope that doesn't make me sound too weird...

Anyway, happy weekend all. I hope it's sunny where you are.

Thanks Francesca! I have a fair amount of work unfortunately but am going to break it up with mini "rewards" as I like to think of them, in the form of making collages and doing a bit of pottery work! I might ration easter eggs in the same way too...

Thank you for making such lovely comments about my work Anna. I found your collages the other day and from looking at your blog I was very inspired to find such an open-minded creative person who is also very industrious and motivated. I’m studying a city and guilds course on-line and that’s where I leant about collaging with monoprinted coloured paper. It’s so much fun and so easy to do. I love your collages; I especially like these circular compositions. They are so fabulously graphicy and fun, but being cut out by hand they also have a painterly quality. I’m a nutter for patterns at the moment, I’ve been seeing visions of collages and patterns and imagining things I’d like to do, but haven’t got round to starting yet. Well, can't wait to see more of your work as it develops. All the best, and thanks again xxx.
