Don't tell, but I may have bought two chairs today. They were a fiver each and were quite a nice shape. I'm going to replace their seat fabric and make them spangly new-like. We don't strictly need any more chairs but I plan on throwing a Christmas party this year, so it's totally necessary. Honest.
Also, I bagged this lovely coat by Joules on ebay at the weekend. It fits like a dream and is beautifully made of navy blue wool. V. chuffed indeed - it's lined with gold satin! (The pic isn't of me by the way, but maybe one day you shall see a little pic of me in it).
Hope you're all snuggled up and are fighting the cold and wetness. I'm off to make some soup for dinner as I'm planning a late working night and I've the house to myself - exciting!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! YOU! IT WAS YOU! we were bidding against one another! i can't believe it! oh bum, i really wanted it as well.
ha! it really is TOO SPOOKY, my last bid was £52.59 so it was VERY CLOSE as well as SPOOKY. and i don't even like Joules stuff normally!
anyway, enjoy it, and i say that as in the least begrudging way imaginable. promise!
p.s thanks for that link - i love the uber-creative use of stripy electrical tape, we even have some of that somewhere!
the chairs were definately neccesary, I think anything that only cost a fiver is necessary. Also, theres a little present for you over at my blog, enjoy :)
I love that chair! I went to IKEA on Saturday and saw some great fabrics that could do for your chair. Just an idea.....Can't wait to see how the tiles come out. And I am still daydreaming about how wonderful your trip to Porto must have been.
