Ta da!

Just a quick post this evening to show you my finished quilt! It's rather poorly made but I absolutely love it, it looks so cute on our white shaker-style bed. It totally lifts the room I think. Our bedroom isn't very big so no wide-angle shots of the whole quilt from a far-off perspective I'm afraid, but I hope you get the idea...

It looks really pretty, so fresh and lively! Thanks for stopping by Happysquirrel and leaving your comment. I think you are right about adding a bit more colour in my quilt. Hopefully I will get round it this weekend. I really appreciate your advice. : )

This is just the sort of simple quilt, with lots of white, that I've been wanting to make.
Did you use a pattern? I've never made one before and though I can find instructions for more intricated designs I haven't found anything like this.
Very pretty! Love the colours :-)

Hi Anna,
Thanks for your lovely blog comment and for the advice. I bought myself a rotary cutter today and with your simple instructions in mind I'm going to start experimenting! Susie

Oh my goodness; I love this combination of the soft colored quilt (beautiful!) and modern and bright orange lamp (so jealous!). I like your last post about it clashing with the other bedside globe lamp because my husband is a GIS map nerd by profession, and this would be a perfect depiction of what I would like our bedroom to look like. A beautiful lamp for me, and a globe for him.

Thanks for stopping by my little blog; I have lots of reading to do on yours!
